Day 1: Arrival at Colombo and Journey to Anuradhapura

Arrive Colombo at 12:50 Hrs. Get a warm welcome and help at the Airport, after that, you will be taken to Anuradhapura, en-route, visit the Munneshwaram Kovil. Overnight in Anuradhapura . The Munneswaram temple is a very important Hindu temple and is associated with the famous Indian myths and stories about Ramayana and its King Rama who was considered to be a hero. It is a very prestigious temple that is popular with Buddhists and Christians.

            Meals: Light Lunch (at Local Restaurant) & Dinner

Day 2: Explore the Anuradhapura Ancient City and Transfer to Sigiriya or Dambulla

After Breakfast, witness one of the oldest ancient capitals of Sri Lanka, famous for its well-preserved ruins of ancient Sri Lankan civilization.

             Places to Visit:

Sri Maha Bodhi Tree - The right branch of the Bodhi tree in Bodh Gaya in India, under which the Buddha attained enlightenment, was brought to Sri Lanka in the 3rd century BC by Princess Sangha Mitta, the daughter of Emperor Asoka.

Thuparma Dagoba - Thuparama is the first dagoba to be built in Anuradhapura during the reign of King Devanampiyatissa (3rd century BC), enshrining the right collarbone of the Buddha, His alms bowl, and other relics.

Ruwanveli Dagoba - built by King Dutugemunu who ruled the country in the 2nd century BC is a huge dagoba measuring 103 meters in height with a circumference of 287 meters.

Mihintale, Abhayagiriya, Kuttam pokuna.

And Evening Proceed to Sigiriya. Overnight at Sigiriya.

Day 3: Sigiriya Exploration – Proceed to Kandy

Early Morning Embark on a journey to the iconic Sigiriya ancient rock fortress in the north-central province of Sri Lanka. Unofficially acclaimed as the 8th wonder of the world, Sigiriya is a city, palace, and garden complex centered on a towering 200-meter-high rock. After hiking Sigiriya proceed to Kandy, en-route to witness the Dambulla Cave Temple, Evening Time Proceed to Kandy. Overnight in Kandy

Day-4: Kandy Exploration

Early Morning after Breakfast start exploring the Kandy,

Kandy, the last royal capital of Sri Lanka is a major tourist destination. (115kM from Colombo at 465 meters above sea level). Famous for the Temple of the Tooth and many other temples the city could be called the cultural capital of the island.

Kandy Perahera, - the pageant of the temple of tooth where Buddha's tooth is kept is held either in July or August each year to parade the golden caskets is a must-see literary if one is visiting Sri Lanka during these months. The final night procession is the most spectacular event of the country. More than 50 elephants parade the city accompanied by drummers, dancers and chieftains.

Day 5: Kandy to Pinnawala, then off to Nuwara Eliya

Transfer to Nuwara Eliya. On the way, visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, Damro Tea factory, Ashok Vatika, Sitha Amman Kovil, and Gregory Lake (on the way). Arrive in Nuwara Eliya, and transfer to the Hotel. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 6: Nanu Oya to Ella Joyride by train. Or by Road journey

In the morning, enjoy the beautiful train ride from Nanu Oya to Ella, if the train is not available, then Nuwara Eliya to Ella will transfer by car.  Evening Visit 9 Arch Bridge.  Overnight in Ella.

Day 7: Ella to Galle, then off to Bentota/Colombo

Early in the morning, around 7 AM, proceed to Galle (Parcel Breakfast). Visit Galle Fort. Then, after lunch around 1:30 PM, proceed to the Madu River safari at Bentota. Then transfer to the Bentota hotel via the turtle farm. Check into your hotel at night. Overnight at Bentota/Colombo.

Day 8: Departure day.

After an early breakfast, proceed to Colombo Airport via a visit to Colombo City tour, Gangaramaya Temple, and Lotus Tower. In the afternoon, proceed to Colombo Airport for an onward journey. The tour ends here.

  • No refund will be made for any unused accommodation, missed meals, transportation segments, sightseeing tours, or any other service. Such unused items are neither refundable nor exchangeable.
  • Room allocation is done by the hotel depending upon availability at the time of check-in in the category of room as specified on your confirmation voucher.
  • No refund shall be claimed, if the services & amenities of the hotel are not up to your expectations, it will be considered on a case-to-case basis.
  • Baggage Allowance for Internal Sector is 15 Kgs for Checked-Baggage & 7 Kgs for Hand Baggage
  • Passengers missing flights - In such cases the entire ticket/booking gets a no-show and stands canceled, a new return ticket needs to be purchased by the passengers
  • Third person in a Triple room will be provided a rollaway bed only.
  • All transfers and extensive sightseeing with entrance fees (as specified in the itinerary) by an air-conditioned coach.
  • A local representative or your coach driver may only be there to assist you during your initial part of the tour.
  • Kindly note that the tour routing could change on certain departure dates. In some tours, there is also a possibility that the tour could operate in reverse itinerary.   • The drivers are bound by specific rules, like maximum driving hours within a day and during a week, rest period per day/week, etc. Clients will have to strictly adhere to the prescribed timetable for the day so that the driver can complete the travel, otherwise, certain sightseeing schedules may be missed due to your actions/delays and the same will be non-refundable
